This Week's Survey πŸ“

One house, one floor plan, and the numbers we shot off the laser. We post a marked-up survey most weeks β€” no addresses, just the readings and what we told the owner to do about them.

III Section 02

What we actually do to a house

Every job starts the same way β€” a floor survey and a number in inches. Everything after that follows from the readings.

01

Elevation Survey & Report

We shoot the whole floor on a rotary laser and hand you a marked plan with every reading in inches. It's yours to keep whether or not you ever hire us.

From $395
Elevation Survey & Report
02

Steel Push Piers

Driven under the footing to load-bearing strata, then the house comes back up on hydraulics and gets locked off. This is the fix for a slab that has dropped.

From $1,495 per pier
Steel Push Piers
03

Pier & Beam Leveling

New pads, fresh shims, sistered joists and replaced beams under the crawl space until the floor reads flat again and the doors latch.

From $5,400
Pier & Beam Leveling
04

Slab Lifting & Void Fill

Polyurethane foam injected under a sunken slab through dime-sized ports. Driveways, garage floors and patios β€” you drive on it that same afternoon.

From $2,850
Slab Lifting & Void Fill
05

Crack Repair & Injection

Cracks routed and injected with epoxy or urethane, brick veneer re-stitched and re-pointed β€” after the movement is stopped, never before.

From $1,250
Crack Repair & Injection
06

Drainage, Grading & Root Barriers

Buried drains, re-graded soil away from the wall, downspout extensions and root barriers, because in this clay the water is the actual defendant.

From $3,600
Drainage, Grading & Root Barriers

Plates

Field photography from open jobs. Every deviation shown was read off the laser, in inches.

Founded on one very stubborn ranch house.

Pierline started in 2009 with a hydraulic ram, a four-foot level and a 1972 ranch house in Del City that had dropped an inch and a half at the northeast corner. Ross fixed that one, then the one across the street, and has been reading floors ever since.

We don't sell piers. We sell readings. If your floor is out three-quarters of an inch across forty feet, that is a house in Oklahoma clay behaving normally β€” we'll write it down, tell you so, and go home. When it does need work, you get the plan, the pier count and the price before anybody puts a shovel in the ground.

Section 05

Why people call us second

Usually after a free inspection somewhere else came back with a very big number and no readings attached to it.

01

Numbers, not opinions

Every recommendation traces back to a reading in inches on a plan you keep in a drawer.

02

We'll tell you it's fine

Plenty of surveys end with no work at all. Clay moves. Not all movement is failure.

03

Pier count before the dig

The plan, the count and the price are set before anything opens up. Changes get explained, not assumed.

04

We fix the water too

Piers stop the symptom. Grading and drainage are what keep the corner from going back down.

Section 06

Book the survey first

Send the address and what you're seeing β€” a door that won't latch, a crack over a window, a floor that rolls under you. We'll shoot the floor, mark up the plan and walk you through the readings at the kitchen table.

  • βœ“ Pier count and price before any digging
  • βœ“ No work recommended when none is needed

Bring us the crack you keep photographing.

Call, text, or send the photos you've already got on your phone. Most questions we can answer off two pictures and the year the house was built.
